1 killed in fire at El Paso County mobile home community

A fire involving a single-wide mobile home in The Springs Roberts Communities left one person dead Wednesday night.

Cimarron Hills Fire Department, Falcon Fire Department, and PAFD Fire Department were on the scene at 1095 Western Drive.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a man was found dead inside the home after firefighters extinguished the flames.

At this time, it’s not clear what started the fire or if it’s considered suspicious.
