Wind Alert Day – 12/11/18

TODAY: Look for clouds and sun around the area today with wind gusts increasing past sunrise. Gusts could be between 30 and 35 mph over the lower terrain, with high peaks seeing gusts to 50 mph. Winds die down a bit closer to sunset. Highs today will be in the upper 40s and 50s to low 60s.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and not quite as windy. Lows will be in the 20s tonight.

EXTENDED: A quick moving shot of snow moves in Wednesday night into early Thursday morning. Wind will be a problem, especially by Thursday morning. Only minor accumulations and isolated slick spots are expected right now. Clearing and warming follows that event on Friday into the weekend.
