Mild Tuesday Ahead 12-10-18

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and chilly. Lows will be in the 20s tonight with higher elevation mountain cities cooling to the upper teens.

TUESDAY: Tomorrow brings increasing clouds and even warmer highs in the 50s and 60s. It’ll be mild despite the clouds due to breezy west winds.

EXTENDED: A weak cold front swings in by Wednesday, cooling daytime highs to the 40s and 50s. Skies will still be mostly sunny. Snow fills into the High Country during the afternoon and pushes east towards the Palmer Divide around sunset. There will be a brief chance for snow showers spreading south and east overnight into Thursday. Accumulations are looking minor but strong northerly winds will make it feel much colder. Warmer conditions arrive in time for the weekend.
