Firefighters battle fire near the Broadmoor, second house fire of the morning

The Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 2012 Oak Way Friday morning. (MAP)

That was the second house fire in Colorado Springs firefighters responded to Friday morning. CSFD reports the fire happened in a converted home and originated between the lower and main living areas of one of the units.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. No injuries are reported.

There is no word on how many people are displaced but we do know two cats haven’t been located.

The first fire happened 390 Wedgewood Court.
