Colorado Springs Wendy’s robbed at gunpoint, gun fired during robbery

Colorado Springs police officers responded to the Wendy’s restaurant at 215 Montebello Drive West Tuesday night for reports of an armed robbery.

Numerous customers and employees were at the fast food restaurant when a man armed with a handgun fired a shot during the robbery, however, no one was struck by gunfire.

The man left the scene dressed in a mask and winter clothing.

CSPD says they are actively investigating the case at this time.
