Colorado Springs police looking to identify robber who fired shots into Wendy’s near N. Academy

The Colorado Springs Police Department needs the public’s help in identifying a man who reportedly fired shots into the Wendy’s on N. Academy and Montebello Drive in an attempt at robbery Tuesday.

Police say the incident happened just before 8 p.m. The man is described as a white male with blue eyes that is about 5’5” and 140 pounds.

They do not believe there is any direct danger to the public at this time. If you have any information regarding the man or the robbery, you’re asked to call CSPD at (719) 444-7000.
