Marty’s Sunday Morning Forecast – Colder, Snow Possible Late – 12/2/18

Today: Clouds will increase on Sunday with flurries or areas of very light snow possibly developing late in the day. The wind won’t be as strong on Sunday, but the air will remain chilly with high temperatures in the 30s to near 40 for the plains, only 20s for the mountains.

Tonight: Areas of light snow are likely to develop mainly over and near the mountains. A few inches of snow could accumulate over and near the Wet and Sangre De Cristo mountains but it appears that accumulations of snow will remain light through Monday morning for most other areas with maybe an inch or 2″ possible in spots on and near the higher terrain in the Pikes Peak Region. Expect low temperatures to fall into the teens to near 20 for most areas.

Extended: Scattered snow showers and/or flurries may persist Monday afternoon over and near the mountains into Monday night. The rest of the week looks cool with high temperatures at best in the 30s and 40s for most areas. We expect to see the sun quite a bit Tuesday and Wednesday, but Thursday and Friday might be a bit cloudy and colder with a few flakes or a little light snow at times over and near the mountains. The ski resorts in southern Colorado may receive significant snowfall late Thursday into Friday.
