Deadline approaching to send mail to troops

The United States Postal Service says if you want to send mail to troops overseas for the holidays, you’re running out of time.

According to the USPS you have until December 11th for cards, letters and priority mail packages and December 18th for priority mail express military service.

The Postal Service offers a reduced price of $17.40 on its largest priority mail flat rate box for mail sent to Air/Army post offices, Fleet post offices, and Diplomatic post offices around the globe.

The Postal Service is expected to process more than 16.2 million pounds of mail to our service members overseas this year.
