Weather Alert Day: rain and snow – 11/30/18
TODAY: Its a weather alert day here in Southern Colorado. Rain and snow will be moving in as we head past 2PM today. This will be impacting the evening commute, and could allow for some slick spots. Most places along the Palmer Divide and in Teller County see anywhere from a trace to 1.5 inches of snow through this evening. Little to no accumulation elsewhere. Highs today will warm into the 30s and 40s.
TONIGHT: Snow wraps up this evening and we are left with cold temps in the 20s and partly cloudy skies.
EXTENDED: Dry weather is in the forecast for tomorrow before another round of snow moves in for the late morning and early afternoon on Sunday. This snow looks to be more significant. It begins over the southern mountains and lifts north and east through the day. This carries into early Monday morning. A few inches are likely here in the Pikes Peak Region, with more significant snow totals over the southern mountains. We will keep you updated!
