Suspect shot, killed by Lakewood police after shooting off rounds near Lakewood park

A man was killed by Lakewood police agents after he was reported to have been shooting off rounds near Lakewood park just before 8 p.m. Wednesday.

This information is according to our partners at Denver 7. Lakewood PD initially reported on Twitter, they were investigating an officer-involved shooting near West 10th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard after receiving reports of shots fired.
