Saint Patrick Roman Catholic Church loses founding member of church

Saint Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Colorado Springs says a founding member of the church has died.

Monsignor John Slattery became the churches first fill pastor in 1981.

A vigil is planned in his honor on Tuesday, December 4th at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Colorado Springs from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.

The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Patrick Church on Wednesday, December 5th at 1:00 p.m.
