Cooling Trend 11-28-18
TONIGHT: Mostly clear to partly cloudy. Lows will be in the 20s and 30s.
TOMORROW: Thursday will bring more continued, quiet and mild weather for the southern half of the state. More sunshine is expected with highs in the 40s and 50s and some 60s over the Southeastern Plains. While still pleasant, this will be about 10 degrees warmer than today.
EXTENDED: Snow will begin to move over the Sangres while low clouds fill into the Eastern Plains. Some light snow or freezing drizzle will be possible under the low clouds. Later in the day, a few scattered rain and snow showers will be possible with minimal accumulations. This event still looks to bring minimal impacts. Temps will be cooler, in the 30s and 40s. Saturday should stay mostly dry with cool temps and a some passing clouds. Sunday into Monday will bring the chance for more significant snow. Right now, this remains a tricky forecast. Models are very split on timing and track of this particular system so stay tuned for updates to the forecast.
