Quieter trend ahead – 11/18/18

Tonight: Clear skies are expected overnight. Lows will drop to the teens and 20s. It’ll get cold overnight, so make sure to bundle up! Into early Monday, there could be some low-lying clouds along the Lower Arkansas River Valley (primarily surrounding La Junta); however, those should clear around sunrise. Where freezing fog develops, there could be some slick spots. Drive carefully!

Tomorrow: It’ll be gorgeous tomorrow! That is, as long as you don’t mind the crisp temperatures! Highs will be a few degrees below-average. Even still, we’ll have tons of sunshine and light winds. Enjoy the quiet weather!

Extended: We stay sunny, dry and mild through Wednesday. On Thanksgiving, temperatures will be relatively warm – reaching the 50s and 60s! However, there will be some breezy conditions as a low pressure system swings through the state. This system will push a cold front through southern Colorado late Thanksgiving. Behind it, it’ll be little cooler on Friday. While we stay dry through Black Friday, Saturday offers some changes with chances for snow/rain and cooler temperatures! We’ll track that for you carefully and keep you ahead of the storms.
