CU Boulder student receives prestigiousRhodes scholarship

A University of Colorado student is one of 32 Americans who will receive the prestigious Rhodes scholarship.

Colorado Springs native Serene Singh who attends CU Boulder will study at Oxford University in England starting next fall. Singh is the university’s first Rhodes scholar since 1993 and the first Sikh-American in the United States to receive the recognition.

Singh says she aspires to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court one day.
