Powerful photo shows firefighter battling deadly Northern California wildfires

The New York City Fire Department Memorial posted a powerful photo to their Facebook page Monday.

The picture shows a firefighter looking out towards the California wildfires with the caption, “

Real Superhero (California Firefighter)”.

The Cañon City Police Department also shared the photo to their Facebook page Monday.

They captioned the photo, “There are no words… such an amazing photograph. God Bless Our Firefighters.”

At last check, ABC News is reporting the wildfire currently raging in Northern California has killed at least 42 people, making it the most deadly and destructive fire in the state’s history.

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office also posted the photo to their Facebook with the caption, “This is an amazing photo. ‍”.
