Child thrown from vehicle in 2-car crash

Colorado Springs Police Department have confirmed that a child was thrown from one of the vehicles in a two-car crash earlier this morning.

It happened on Woodmen Road, east of I-25 just before noon.

According to police, one of the cars was going westbound on Woodmen Road and ran a red light.

Upon impact, both vehicles spun, causing the child to be thrown from the vehicle.

All occupants from both vehicles were transported to local hospitals with unknown injuries at this time.
