Water outage reported in Manitou Springs after main break

A water main break in Manitou Springs caused an outage and road detours Friday morning.

According to the city, the break was on the main trunk line at Elk Path and Oklahoma Road. Water outages were expected to be widespread and included Manitou Springs High School and Manitou Springs Middle School.

Utility crews are responding to fix the break, but the city says to expect detours in the area.
