Over Easy restaurant changes name to Urban Egg a daytime eatery

Brunch restaurant, Over Easy, announced it will change its name to Urban Egg a daytime eatery on Nov. 12.

The name will be changed at all three of the Colorado Springs restaurants. Longtime owners of Over Easy and founders of Rocky Mountain Restaurant Group, Randy and Liz Price, said one reason for the name change is the discovery of several restaurants throughout North America operating under the name Over Easy, independently of one another.

Another reason for the name change was after Rocky Mountain Restaurant Group acquired the rights to Urban Egg a daytime eatery, from a branding standpoint the Prices said it made sense.

We will no longer require two websites, two Instagram accounts and multiple Facebook accounts. Our advertising will be more effective, and it will be more efficient for our marketing team to manage one brand.” said Randy Price.

The Prices say the only thing that will change is the name, all the menu items and staff will remain the same.
