Police shut down Colorado Springs post office due to incident
Update: The powder on the suspicious package that caused a Colorado Springs post office to close and the surrounding street to be blocked off turned out to be pre-workout powder, a workout supplement.

Police shut down 8th street for hours while they investigated this scene, deterring many parents dropping their kids off for school.
“When we were driving up, we saw all the police activity and got a little curious as to what was going on again in my town,” said one grandmother who wishes to remain anonymous. She told us she is tired of the violence and crime she has seen in Colorado Springs.
