Rocky Ford School District R2 placed on lockout due to potential threat

The Rocky Ford School District was placed on lockout Tuesday morning due to a potential threat in the community.

The School District reports that there is not an immediate threat to the school or students. The district is working with law enforcement.

A lockout means that no one is allowed to enter or exit the buildings until the lockout order has been lifted.
