Dragonman offers free AR-15 rifles to local temples
Following the mass shooting at a synagogue in Pittsburgh, the owner of a local gun store is offering free semi-automatic rifles to local temples for protection.
Mel Bernstein, owner of Dragonman’s outside Colorado Springs, says he will give away a free AR-15 and 100 rounds to any local rabbi that wants one.
He estimates the value at approximately $650 each.
Each rabbi would still have to pass a background check in order to take ownership.
Bernstein is Jewish himself, but admitted he was not the most active member of his own temple.
