Colorado schools offering free college applications for students Tuesday
College application fees can really add up, considering most cost between $50 to $100, but on Tuesday Colorado students have the chance to apply to more than 30 schools for free.
According to the KMGH, Gov. John Hickenlooper dubbed the month of October as College Application Month and Oct. 30 as Colorado Free Application Day.
Students can apply to 32 public colleges, universities and private institutions without worrying about the application fee on Oct. 30 from 12:01 a.m. until 11:59 p.m.
The schools include:
Adams State University Colorado Mesa University Colorado School of Mines Colorado State University Colorado State University – Global Colorado State University – Pueblo Fort Lewis College Metropolitan State University of Denver University of Colorado Boulder University of Colorado Denver University of Colorado Colorado Springs University of Northern Colorado Western Colorado University Aims Community College Arapahoe Community College Community College of Aurora Community College of Denver Colorado Mountain College Colorado Northwestern Community College Emily Griffith Technical College Front Range Community College Lamar Community College Morgan Community College Northeastern Community College Otero Junior College Pickens Technical College Pikes Peak Community College Pueblo Community College Pueblo Community College Red Rocks Community College Technical College of Rockies Western Colorado Community College Johnson & Wales University Regis University
Thirteen of the schools are offering the free application only on Oct. 30, but the rest offer free applications year-round.
