CSPD investigating shooting in NW Colorado Springs
Colorado Springs police are at the scene of a shooting at an apartment complex in the northwest part of the city.
A call came in just before 2 p.m. about a man shot in the leg in the 4700 block of Rusina Road, just north of Garden of the Gods Road. The severity of his injury was not clear.
At least one suspect was seen running from the scene, according to police dispatchers. He’s described as a black male in his 20s with a heavy build and beard wearing a green and orange striped polo shirt.
Police are currently looking for a black Cadillac Escalade also seen driving away from the scene.
