Warmer and Drier Thursday 10-24-18
TONIGHT: Today’s rain will continue tracking east throughout the evening and will likely clear the Eastern Plains after midnight. We’ll get some clearing in our western locations but low clouds and fog will likely redevelop. Northwest winds will kick in overnight helping to push low clouds and fog further east. Areas along I-25 will likely be mostly sunny by the morning commute while the plains still deal with clouds. Lows will be cooler, in the 30s and 40s.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny skies return through midday allowing for warmer conditions with highs in the 50s and 60s. Some areas may even touch 70. By late afternoon and evening, clouds will be on the increase with a few showers possible over the Eastern Mountains from some weak energy moving through. Clouds will gradually clear overnight into Friday.
EXTENDED: The mild, sunny and dry weather continues into Saturday with highs slightly warmer, in the 60s and 70s. A dry system moves in for Sunday dropping temps by 10-15 degrees. Highs on Sunday will only be in the 50s despite mostly sunny skies. Warmer air moves in again for Monday and Tuesday before big changes arrive. A big cool down is expected for Halloween which could come with rain and some snow. Stay tuned for updates.
