Two killed in crash in Fremont County

The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that happened in Fremont County on Tuesday.

Officers tell us a Mazda Tribute was traveling westbound on Highway 50 just before 8 p.m., when it crossed into the eastbound lane and struck a Nissan Juke. The Mazda then struck a Ford Explorer, causing the Ford to roll over.

The Ford’s driver, Marin Dobos of Arizona, was killed, along with a passenger that’s only identified as Pauline. The driver of the Mazda suffered serious injuries. The driver of the Nissan was not hurt.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this crash. At this time there’s no word on any possible charges in connection with this crash.
