Semi-trailer gets stuck on train track in S. Colorado Springs

A tractor-trailer got stuck on a train track in south Colorado Springs Tuesday morning as a train approached.

The truck got stuck at a section of S. Royer Street near E. Las Vegas Street that is known for trapping long vehicles. There’s even a sign at the intersection warning long trucks to avoid taking that street. ( PHOTOS )

Emergency crews got the train to stop before the truck was hit, but the Colorado Springs Fire Department had to work at getting the truck free from the hump at the track.

It’s not clear if anyone was injured.
