UPDATE: The Colorado Springs Police Department confirmed Ms. Hagood, 63, was found safe Monday after going missing over the weekend.

Previous Story:

Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Roanoke Street Sunday night for reports of a missing woman.

Upon arrival, officers were informed that 63-year-old Deborah Hagood had left a retirement center to go shopping around 2:00 p.m. on Sunday and had not returned home by 8:30 that night.

The reporting party said Hagood had done this many times in the past but had always returned home once it got dark. Hagood has mental disorders that require medication and she has been known to get lost while out alone.

Hagood is described as a white female with blonde/grey hair, 226 lbs and 5’03”. She was last seen wearing a long sleeve black shirt, green winter jacket, blue pants and leopard print slip-on shoes.

Officers checked the surrounding areas but did not locate Hagood.
