Changes Arrive Tuesday 10-22-18

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies are expected overnight with mainly dry conditions. By the early morning, low clouds and patchy fog are expected across the Eastern Plains and possibly as far west as the I-25 corridor. Lows drop to the 30s and 40s.

TOMORROW: Changes arrive Tuesday with cloudy skies, areas of fog and cooler temps. Fog and low clouds may persist for a good amount of the day keeping highs about 15-20 degrees cooler. Showers begin to build in during the day starting around the San Luis Valley and Southern Mountains. By late evening and overnight, this area of rain will spread north along the I-25 corridor and Eastern Mountains.

EXTENDED: A band of rain will continue to move through Southern Colorado through the day Wednesday starting along the I-25 corridor and Eastern Mountains. Rain then begins to spread east through the Eastern Plains later in the day. Rain will end from west to east with some clearing of skies possible. This will mainly be a rain event with snow confined to the higher peaks of the Wets, Sangres and Pikes Peak. Breezy conditions may be experienced in some areas early Wednesday with cool highs again. Into Thursday and Friday, temperatures warm up. Sunshine is expected for the latter part of the work week and into this upcoming weekend.
