Changes ahead – 10/22/18

Today: Mostly sunny skies will take us through the day today. It will be mild and a bit breezy. Highs will range in the 60s and 70s. With sunshine, those temperatures will wind up feeling even warmer! Maximize on our beautiful weather today. Changes are possible the next few days!

Tonight: Mainly clear skies are forecasted for the area overnight. A few isolated showers are possible for Teller County and the Palmer Divide later this evening. Spotty showers are a possibility early tomorrow for some areas as well. Lows tumble to the 30s and 40s. Pockets of fog are possible along the eastern plains. Grab a jacket early Tuesday!

Extended: Tuesday and Wednesday offer some changing conditions for southern Colorado. First of all, temperatures will be about 15 to 20 degrees cooler tomorrow compared to what we’ll experience today. Secondly, clouds and moisture will be increasing the next couple of days. It will be breezy as well. I’m expecting on-and-off showers Tuesday and Wednesday. Precipitation should fall in the form of rain for the lower elevations. Teller County will primarily deal with rain vs snow as well. Into the Continental Divide and high country peaks, some snow is expected to stack up. Into Thursday and Friday, temperatures warm up. Sunshine is expected for the latter part of the work week and into this upcoming weekend.
