Marty’s Sunday Morning Forecast – Warmer Again – 10/21/18

Today: We’ll be cool this morning, but we’ll end up warmer this afternoon with high temperatures in the 60s and 70s for the plains, mainly 50s to lower 60s for the mountains. We expect a few clouds this afternoon and some areas will be a bit breezy at times afternoon, but overall the wind shouldn’t be too bad.

Tonight: The sky will remain mostly clear and we expect low temperatures in the 30s to lower 40s.

Extended: The air will cool slightly on Monday, but we still expect to see plenty of sunshine and remain dry. A weak upper level system will spread clouds and slightly cooler air over the area starting Tuesday. Late Tuesday or Tuesday night we could have scattered showers drifting over the area, and isolated showers and thunderstorms will remain possible on Wednesday. High temperatures as this system passes will probably hover in the 50s for most areas. An isolated shower will be possible over and near the mountains on Thursday, but most areas should stay dry. We should be a little warmer again on Friday with high temperatures back into the 60s to near 70 for the plains. Another cold front looks to slide over the area early next weekend so Saturday looks a little cooler but dry with high temperatures in the 50s for most areas. We should be a little warmer again on Sunday.
