Pueblo police investigating after 4 trash trucks catch fire

Pueblo police are trying to figure out if someone intentionally set fire to four garbage trucks early Friday morning.

Officers were called out to 21 Environmental Place after the report of the fires at about 3 a.m. That’s where they found the four trash trucks damaged.

Police say they also found four other trash fires around the downtown area and they’re trying to figure out if they’re connected.

At this point, we know that police consider the fires suspicious, but they say “more investigative work is needed to decide if the causes of these fires are criminal.”
