Cooler with clouds and sprinkles today – 10/17/18

TODAY: Clouds will be moving in through the morning today. Coming with that is the chance for ongoing sprinkles or an isolated light rain and snow shower further south. The chance for some sprinkles spreads north with the clouds through the lunch hour and will stay with us through the afternoon. Showers are possible over the far eastern plains. Highs today will be cooler and will only warm into the 40s and 50s.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and cool. Lows will be in the 30s over the lower terrain with 20s in the mountains.

EXTENDED: A shower or two is possible in the far eastern part of the state early tomorrow morning. Otherwise, look for clearing closer to the mountains through the early afternoon. Highs along the front range will be in the 50s, but clouds will be slower to clear out east so places there could end up slightly cooler. Great weather is expected into the weekend. Look for sun and warmer highs in the 50s and 60s. Our next chance for rain and snowflakes doesn’t move in until next Tuesday.
