Suspect locks clerk inside freezer at Colorado Springs gas station

A man locked a Kum & Go clerk inside a store freezer early Tuesday morning during an armed robbery.

CSPD officers arrived to 6600 Dalby Drive and discovered the male suspect had entered the store, displayed a handgun, locked the clerk inside the store freezer and then left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man was wearing all dark clothing and his face was covered. Police do not know the man’s race.
