Man dies after rollover crash in Pueblo County

Colorado State Patrol said a man is dead after he crashed his car one mile west of Boone in Pueblo County.

The crash happened Sunday just after 2 p.m. on Highway 96.

Troopers say 73-year-old Terry Budgell was driving east when he failed to negotiate a right hand curve and went off the left side of the road.

Budgell then hit a power pole and rolled his car. Budgell had his seatbelt on but died after the crash.

Drugs and alcohol are not considered factors in the crash. The incident is still under investigation.
