Cooler Weekend with Showers 10-5-18
TONIGHT: Breezy and colder behind a departing cold front. Clouds will continue to fill in overnight with scattered showers possible. Light rain and fog may accompany cool temps and low clouds early in the morning over much of the area.
TOMORROW: After a chilly and cloudy start to Saturday, clouds may thin out a little by the afternoon but temps won’t warm much. Highs only make it to the 50s with 40s in our mountain cities. It will still be breezy through much of the day. A few storms may move in by late in the evening.
EXTENDED: Rain and storms then move in for much of Southern Colorado on Sunday. Highs will still be cool, although a few degrees warmer than Saturday. The air should be cold enough over the weekend and into the first part of next week to allow for a few snowflakes to mix in over Teller County. Significant, accumulating snow this weekend will be contained to the Continental Divide and southern mountains. Cool temps and a wet pattern will linger into Monday and Tuesday.
