Pentagon hopes new website will boost enlistment

The Pentagon is revamping its website in the hopes of raising recruitment rates.

Low unemployment and the strong economy are creating shortages in key areas of the military.

One feature of the new website includes a two-minute video which highlights the work done by each branch.

It shows forces taking on cartoon pirates and drug dealers.

The video was created by a young service member. The Department of Defense says it “matches up with the way Americans view news and content online.”
