Lakewood police looking for suspect accused of exposing himself near apartment complex pool

The Lakewood Police Department needs help identifying a man accused of exposing himself while at the Ashford Belmar Apartments pool on September 17, 2018.

Two separate sets of victims say they were sitting at the pool when the suspect, described as a Hispanic male, allegedly began masturbating in public. The victims say he was sitting in the chair with his shirt pulled over his knees and his arms tucked in the shirt when it happened.

They say it happened a second time inside the pool as well. The suspect’s genitals were apparently displayed during the incidents. When one victim attempted to confront the suspect, police say the suspect ran to the bathroom and later seen walking through the apartment complex.

The Hispanic male is described as a darker complexion and between 5’8”-6’0” feet tall, very thin, and bald. He was also said to have been carrying a tan backpack and was last seen wearing a lime green polo shirt with horizontal blue stripes and baggy dark blue jeans when leaving the pool area.
