Armed man follows employee into Colorado Springs business

Police are searching for a man that was involved in an armed robbery Monday night.

Officers were called to a business in the 1800 block of N Union Blvd. for reports of a robbery with a weapon. Upon arrival, officers were unable to locate the suspect.

After interviewing the victim and witnesses, police learned that the male suspect followed an employee into the business, produced a firearm and left the scene before officers arrived. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.

No injuries were reported and an investigation is ongoing at this time.
