Pedestrian struck by car in Colorado Springs
A person is recovering after they were struck by a car in Colorado Springs.
Officers were called to the intersection of Austin Bluffs Pkwy. and Meadowland Blvd., just after 11 p.m. Sunday. They tell KRDO Newschannel 13 that three people were trying to cross Austin Bluffs when one person was hit by the car.
The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. At this time police have not released any information on their identity.
At this time investigators do not suspect drugs, alcohol, or speeding played a role in this crash. No word yet on if the driver will face charges.
