Cloudy start, storms this afternoon – 10/1/18
TODAY: We will see lots of low clouds around the area this morning. Places east of I-25 will also be dealing with fog. Skies will be mainly dry for much of the area early on, but a few areas might see some drizzle. Showers and storms develop over the mountains after 1PM and then spread east through the afternoon. Highs today will only be in the 60s and 70s because of that. Some places through Pueblo and out east will likely hit 80.
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy tonight. Lows will be in the 50s in the lower terrain. 40s over the mountains.
EXTENDED: The long range forecast brings more opportunities for rain in the coming days. Tuesday brings some isolated showers and storms with dry skies returning on Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday you’ll need the umbrella for a short time. Dry, chilly, mostly cloudy skies are on tap for the weekend.
