Northbound S. Academy at I25 blocked due to overturned semi, take alternative route if possible

Authorities are asking residents to avoid northbound South Academy at I-25 during Wednesday rush-hour due to a traffic incident.

According to a post made to the Colorado Springs Traffic Twitter, the wreck involves a semi-truck turned over on its side, blocking both the left and center lanes of northbound S. Academy.

If you are able to take an alternate route, it is advised that you do.
