Man pulls woman from car at Colorado Springs gas station, drives away

A woman was filling up her gas tank around 1:44 a.m. Tuesday when a man pulled her out of the car by her arm and then got in the driver seat and drove off with her car.

Police responded to the incident in the 300 block of Mount View Lane. When the suspect grabbed the woman, she fell to the ground. Authorities transported her the hospital for minor abrasions on her elbows and knees.

One of the victim’s friends was with her at the time of the carjacking and followed the suspect. The stolen car was reportedly found later Tuesday, but the suspect is still on the loose.
