One man shot and killed in Cotopaxi, CBI investigating

One man is dead after a shooting in Cotopaxi late Saturday night.

It happened around 10:45 p.m. in the area of K Path and 30th trail.

Fremont County deputies, investigators, and CBI are ruling the death a homicide.

The identity of the victim has not been released yet.

Investigators said this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
