Armed Robbery at Apartment Leaves Two Hurt

COLORADO SPRINGS – Two people were assaulted at their apartment around 4:30 Sunday morning on the 1000 block of Magnolia Street near UCCS.

The residents stated they heard a knock at the front door of their apartment. When they answered the door, several armed suspects entered, forced the victims onto the floor, and began to steal things.

During the robbery, both victims sustained minor injuries. One of the victims was struck on the head; the other was hit in the face. The suspects left a short time later.

At this time, officers are still determining what was taken. No information on the victims or the suspects has been released.
