WATCH Local heroes help assist Hurricane Florence victims days after devastation

The men and women at the United States Northern Command and with the North American Aerospace Defense Command continue to work hard, assisting residents affected by Hurricane Florence.

The NORAD & US NORTH COM posted pictures on their official Twitter page of their members working closely with both FEMA and other state and local authorities back on the East Coast.

General Terrence O’Shaughnessy said with the help of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, they’ve been able to model and try to predict where the worst flooding will occur across the Carolinas.
