Colorado Springs Utilities announces new CEO

After unanimously approving to extend an offer of employment, the Colorado Springs Utilities Board welcomed its new Chief Executive Officer, Aram Benyamin.

Benyamin will fill the shoes of Jerry Forte, who retired in May 2018 after a 12-and-a-half year tenure as CEO.

Benyamin has been working with CSU for three years. He is currently the general manager of the Energy Supply Department.

It has not been announced when Benyamin will officially start as CEO. The Utilities Board plans on drafting a contract with the final salary and terms of employment to offer Benyamin by Tuesday. The details will be announced once the Utilities Board and Benyamin come to a final agreement.
