Colorado Springs man arrested for child porn after 4-month investigation

Colorado Springs police arrested a man for possession of child pornography this weekend after a four-month-long investigation.

On Sunday, CSPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children unit searched a home in the 5200 block of Nolte Drive after the investigation and arrested 39-year-old Nathaniel Shane Simpson.

Police say Simpson was charged with sexual exploitation of a child for possession of child pornography.

Simpson was also charged with unlawful distribution and manufacturing for sale of narcotics. It’s not clear what drugs he allegedly manufactured.
