Eagle lands on Aerial truck during Minnesota 9/11 display

A 9/11 tribute turned into a truly awesome experience in Coon Rapids, Minnesota Tuesday. The event, which featured an aerial truck and several American flags, took place in honor of the events that took place 17 years ago, on September 11, 2001.

During the tribute, an eagle decided to take a rest atop on of the aerial trucks on display. The fire truck, which was parked on a major Minnesota highway bridge, was holding a flag and seen by hundreds of people watching the memorial show.

Several departments and first responders, including the Andover Fire Department, watched as the eagle landed and eventually took off. The experience created a breathtaking sight for memorial viewers.

The video was posted by the Andover Fire Chief Jerry Streich in a video shared through Facebook live.

Streich said this is the 17th year for the city’s annual tribute and was certainly one to remember.
