Fort Carson soldiers recovering after crash near Colorado City

The Colorado State Patrol tells us a pair of Fort Carson soldiers is recovering after a crash occurred near Colorado City Friday afternoon.

Police say the truck they were driving appeared to have veered off the right side of Interstate-25, just south of Pueblo, before rolling down an embankment.

We’re told the soldiers were transported to Parkview Hospital in Pueblo after experiencing non-life threatening injuries. According to a Fort Carson spokesperson, the pair were seen walking around shortly after the crash occurred.
