Motorcyclist dies on Powers Blvd. after crash

A 23-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 21 just south of Grinnell Blvd. early Friday morning.

Colorado State Patrol reports, William Garber was riding a Harley Davidson northbound in the southbound lane of Highway 21 when he lost control and caused the Harley to roll off the pavement and into the center median.

Garber was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time alcohol is suspected as a factor in the crash and the crash remains under investigation.
